Savannah arts academy was established in 1999 as a Specialty school and is part of the Savannah-Chatham county public school system. Enrollment is based on specific academic criterion, as well as a successful audition in the desired major.
All SAA flute players will have a MasterClass on Friday, August 24th from 2:50pm - 3:40pm. The session will be held in the band room and students should be picked up by 4:15pm.
Our first PTSA meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 21st at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Following the General Session, we will break into our department meetings. Information for the Spring Trip to New York will be given at that time.

The first day of school is tomorrow, Thursday August 2nd!
Band students do NOT need to bring instruments this Thursday/Friday (August 2nd/3rd).
